Ron e Moch non scherzano

Cari amici e supporters! La Piedmont Brothers Band (PBB) è pronta a produrre nuova musica! Il nuovo progetto si intitola “Going Back To The Country” e vuole essere un nuovo passo in avanti nella nostra reinterpretazione (speriamo senza apparire nostalgici) della buona, vecchia musica Country-Rock degli anni ’70, la musica che tutti noi amiamo. Anche in questo progetto, così come nel precedente Album PBB III, vorremmo includere alcune “leggende” musicali prese tra coloro che ci hanno così profondamente ispirato. Abbiamo già un accordo con Gene Parsons (Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers oltre che co-inventore dello String Bender che utilizzerà nelle sue registrazioni), Jim Salestrom (Wild Jimbos, Dolly Parton …), Stephen A. Love, Patrick Shanahan e Buddy Cage (New Riders Of The Purple Sage, Rick Nelson, Roger McGuinn …). Abbiamo in mente anche altri musicisti i cui nomi fanno “tremare” i polsi di noi appassionati, ma tutto dipenderà da quanto riusciremo a raccogliere con l’iniziativa di Kickstarter. “Ecco, i soldi” direte voi! E già, alla fine siamo qui a chiedere aiuto economico … Il fatto è che fare musica per noi è fondamentalmente un atto di amore, non un “business”, ma per potere fare le cose per bene e per potere coinvolgere tali personaggi abbiamo bisogno di raccogliere sufficienti fondi per pagare gli Studi di Registrazione, la Produzione del CD, i diritti d’Autore, le tasse e così via. Sebbene l’obiettivo minimo fissato in Kickstarter sia di 2500 Dollari, in realtà il nostro vero target è raggiungere i 3000-3500 € o più. Il tutto in 45 giorni (la scadenza sarà il 19 Aprile). Se l’obiettivo minimo non sarà raggiunto, non ci verrà accreditato nulla; se invece sarà superato anche di molto avremo i soldi a disposizione per la Produzione. Abbiamo appena completato un nuovo Album intitolato “Rarities” contenente 14 canzoni (più una “ghost” track a sorpresa). Questo Album presenta arrangiamenti più acustici e presenta per la maggior parte brani inediti e 4 versioni alternative di canzoni già presenti nei nostri Album precedenti. Queste versioni sono comunque uniche e differenti rispetto agli “originali”. We have a couple other big names in mind, depending on how much money we raise. Financial Goals OK, I just said the “M” word…we are trying to raise money for our “Going Back To The Country” album…for the band members, making the music is a labor of love, but we need to raise money to cover guest artist fees and studio time, as well as the actual cost of producing the CDs, including royalty payments for the cover songs. We really need to raise a minimum of $3000; $4000 would allow us to pay some back debts and bring some more “celebrity” artists on board! However the Kickstarter minimum goal will be set at $2500. "Rarities" album We have just completed work on an album called “Rarities”….we had been wanting to make an album focused on a more acoustic sound. We had tracks from previous, unreleased projects, that we updated and some alternate “takes” of some of our released tracks (the alternate take of “I Been Dreamin’ ‘Bout You” will blow you away!)
